hand hygiene carries 1 marks for done, and 0 marks for not done.
SECTION C:
knowledge questionnaire
·
Assessment of knowledge
and practice regarding hand hygiene of the student nurses.
·
Total number of
questions is 20. Each question carries 1 marks for correct answer and the 0
score for wrong answer is considered.
CONTENT VALIDITY: The
prepared tools along with the problem statement, objectives and criteria
practice checklist and knowledge
questionnaire were given to seven nursing expert to ensure content validity.
The experts were from the fields of
microbiology dept., medical -surgical nursing, child health nursing ,fundamental of nursing
.the experts were requested to give their opinion and suggestions regarding the

PLAN FOR DATA ANALYSIS:
Data
analysis will be done by descriptive and inferential statistics based on
objectives. A master data sheet was prepared
with the responses given by the subjects. Post test would be conducted to find
the effectiveness of structured teaching programme. Following statistical test
were used for analyzing the data for the present study:
·
We used mean, mode,
median, standard deviation formulas for calculate the collected data.
·
Chi square was used to
find out the association.
ETHICAL CONSIDERATION:
The
main study will be conducted after the approval of research committee
permission will be obtained from the concerned
head of the hospitals. The purpose and after details f the study will be
explained to the study subjects and an informed consent will be given to the
study subject on the confidentiality of the data collected from them.
Information consent will be taken from the student nurses who are willing to
participate in this study.
